What do we do?
As a Public Benefit Organization, the foundation also works to promote culture and the arts.
→ We organize the SURVIVAL Art Review, which includes:
an exhibition, the Social Stage program (guided tours, lectures, workshops), a volunteer and internship program.
So far, SURVIVAL has resulted in the production of over 1,000 artworks, and the event attracts between 8,000 and 15,000 visitors annually.
→ We document Wrocław’s artistic history:
we search for senior artists of Wrocław’s art scene, organize their exhibitions, publish books, and create a platform for conversation and cultural heritage preservation.
→ We support the local art community
by nurturing the work of both emerging and established Wrocław-based and Polish artists through exhibitions, research projects, residencies, and symposiums.
→ We promote Wrocław and Polish culture abroad
by involving local artists, academics, and cultural professionals in international and intercontinental projects.
→ We provide inclusive education
Our program includes initiatives like BAW! Baby Art Walk and SAW! Senior Art Walk, as well as offerings for minorities and marginalized communities. We also create ready-made educational materials for schools, organize student activities, guided tours, and training for future cultural sector professionals.
