Welcome to our little fairy tale — where the beaver strums a balalaika!
Join our nature game! It will take you through 9 checkpoints in Leśnicki Park and along the Bystrzyca River. At each stop, you’ll solve a puzzle and collect a letter — together, they’ll reveal a secret password. This magical phrase is your “open sesame” to the world of mountain forest watersheds. So come on, have a dam good time!

The project by Anna Siekierska is brought to life with support from Art Transparent Foundation, as part of the international The Big Green initiative under the Creative Europe programme.
Anna Siekierska explores how we can support natural regeneration in areas heavily degraded by exploitative forestry. She’s developing prototype structures that can help heal the scars of deep logging roads and retain water and mud in the forest. Her inspiration comes from both forest activists’ DIY interventions and the masterful constructions of beavers. She believes environmental protection needs a revolution — one that redefines what we mean by wilderness and naturalness.
