“Novem” derives from the Latin word for “nine” and refers both to the nine months of pregnancy and to the nine posters that make up the exhibition. Each poster illustrates a different aspect of motherhood, capturing its diversity—from the moment of conception to the daily challenges. The exhibition explores the light and shadows of this journey, highlighting the contrasts between societal expectations placed on mothers and their personal experiences.
“Novem” is a poetic reflection on motherhood, illustrated by Wrocław-based artist Małgorzata Herrera. Each poster-watercolor invites viewers to deepen their understanding of the maternal role and to look with empathy at the everyday struggles it entails. The exhibition emphasizes that while motherhood is a gift, it now requires particular support and greater empathy.

Privately? A husband from abroad, two kids, a dog, and two cats—their home is a true kaleidoscope of chaos. But it’s in this colorful mess that they thrive best. Where others see disorder, she sees inspiration—in every crooked line, every imperfect shape, and the joyful commotion that leads Gosia to new ideas and extraordinary stories.
